I'm having problems using i12 ultra and other ISP's
Having more than one internet service provider's software on your computer is normally not a problem, especially with i12 ultra. However, some of the software supplied by other ISP's can cause problems. If you are experiencing such problems, the following solutions may be used to resolve these conflicts:

The uninstall program for Virgin.Net removes the files that were originally installed, but fails to clear the Windows 95/98 registry properly. In order to remedy this, run the i12 installation program, go through all the error messages and anything which comes up, and then run the Windows Add/Remove Programs facility on the Windows Control Panel. This should clear out all the settings from the registry regarding i12 and Virgin.Net. Then reinstall the i12 ultra software and everything should run properly.

My Browser is using the wrong dialup connection
If you have joined i12 ultra from another internet service provider and would like to change the default dial-up connection to i12 ultra, please follow the following instructions:

Click on "Start", select "Settings" and click "Control Panel"
Double click the "Internet" icon
Click on the Connection Tab
You should be able to see 'Use the following dial-up connection' list from which you can select the i12 internet connection. Once that is done, click "OK".

If you have a more recent version of Windows, there will be a few more options to go through.

You should be able to see "Connect to the Internet using a modem" which should have a check next to it. If it does not, check it and the Settings button should now appear for you to click on.

You should now be able to select the i12 internet connection. Once that is done, click "OK".
