This page describes how to add network components to your
Windows 95/98 computer.
Begin by opening the "Control
Panel" by clicking the "Start" button, then
"Settings", then "Control Panel". Then
double-click the "Network" icon at which point the
following window should appear:

If there is no "Dial-Up Adapter"
already installed, click "Add", then click "Adapter"
and then click "Add" again. Select Microsoft from
the manufacturers list, then select Dial-Up Adapter from the
Network Adapters list and then click "Ok":

If you do not have one of the following:
TCP/IP or TCP/IP -> Dial Up Adapter
installed, click "Add", then click "Protocol"
and then click "Add" again. Select Microsoft from
the manufacturers list, then select TCP/IP from the Network
Protocols list and then click "Ok":

If you do not have "Client for
Microsoft Networks" already installed, click "Add",
then click "Client" and then the click "Add"
again. Select Microsoft from the manufacturers list, then
select Client for Microsoft Networks from the Network Clients
list and then click "Ok":
